Aesop Village¡¯s Friends
Grandpa Aesop is a Renaissance man capable of many things. For example, he tells us exciting stories and he surprises the world with his inventions. Grandpa Aesop is the first one the friends of Aesop Village go to when they have problems. Because the wise and caring Grandpa Aesop always listens to the stories of animal friends and also solves difficult problems well.
Herky is a naughty and rompish rabbit that no one can stop. Herky likes to brag in a loud voice about how fast she can run. When you¡¯re with Herky, you will never be bored because she talks continuously or leaps here and there. Herky makes mistakes and troubles all the time for she acts before she thinks! Herky likes to fool someone but she ends up being fooled all the time.
Timmy is a reliable friend who does everything he has to do thoroughly until the end. Timmy can¡¯t move quickly but he won the race with the rabbit with the never-give-up spirit. Timmy likes reading books under the tree and having fancies but Herky always bothers Timmy¡¯s peaceful time of his own with practical jokes.
Jamie works hard everyday and she is a shy and lovely little lady. Jamie throws, shoots and gathers the foam balls at the foam factory. She feels great when she sees the children having fun at the foam factory. Jamie¡¯s best friend is Niccolo who loves music and dance. Niccolo plays great music while Jamie works.
Niccolo is a sensuous musician who loves music and dance. He plays music at Jamie¡¯s foam factory. Niccolo is really sensitive maybe because he loves music. He says he becomes full of emotion and shed tears just by seeing the falling leaf. Niccolo¡¯s music makes the color of foam balls more brilliant and helps Jamie enjoy her work.
Ivan is a simple and kind guy who loves farming and sharing vegetables he harvested with Grandpa Aesop and friends. He is not greedy and he enjoys the life as it is but he sometimes he envies the cool guy, Monty. Ivan is a thoughtful friend who does many philosophic thinking. He also has the kind heart to give up something for his friends.
The cool guy, Monty is always busy. He makes everyone in the Aesop Village feel something is going on for he always says ¡°Quickly, Hurry up!¡± and he always checks the time with his watch. He hates everything countrified but he says he learned that something country is better sometimes through his friend, Ivan. But he still picks on the countrified clothes of Ivan whenever he meets him.
The self-styled king of the forest, Limo, is the eldest animal in Aesop Village. He pretends that he is fierce or angry but he turns out to be a innocent and warm. Unlike his big shoulders, he loves looking at the small wild flowers in the filed or growing them. He loves sleeping that he dozes while listening to the exciting stories of Grandpa Aesop.
Minimo is the smallest animal in the Aesop Village but he is smart and witty. He is small and powerless but he manages to tide over many dangers with his wits and he sometimes helps his friends in danger. Minimo is proud of himself for that. He is also full of curiosity that he likes to go to the places he has never been to before like an explorer.
The talkative cook of Aesop Village, Fogry, likes to invite friends to her house or going to her friends to talk. Fogry never ends talking and can¡¯t hold her laughter when she finds something even slightly funny. Fogry is a crafty fellow that she takes care of her things before others. She surprises the friends in the village with extraordinary dishes.
Crany is a cook like Fogry, but he has completely different personality. Crany is serious and quiet that he rather listens to friends well than talks about his own stories. He is also timid that he feels hurt easily with small things and gets sulky. But Crany¡¯s cooking skill is the best in the Aesop Village.
The ugly trouble maker, Snapper, loves surprising and bothering friends. So he is always busy thinking about how to play tricks on others. But Snapper isn¡¯t that smart. It turns out that he is the one that gets scared and runs away. He is a cute villain that we can¡¯t hate.
The youngest animal in the village, Lisa, is a gentle baby sheep. She can¡¯t talk yet so she can only say ¡°baa baa¡± now. She gets easily scared with the jokes the wolf plays and she hides into Grandpa Aesop¡¯s bosom.
Amanda is full of vanity that she loves splendid dresses and make-ups. She loves the attention from others. She has great self-respect and hates to lose so she always pretends that she knows everything.
Hoppy is full of curiosity. He looks at the world with his large and shining eyes filled with curiosity. He always has to know everything that he hops to mom or Grandpa Aesop all the time.
